After establishing the new look and feel for the Casual Games Association (CGA) flagship publication, I was tasked with defining a new visual approach to their market supplements. To communicate the rigor of industry research, the tone needed to be less playful than the magazine while remaining cohesive with the brand. I incorporated subdued secondary accent colors, an alternative humanist font, streamlined icons, and a cleaner layout to convey a more corporate esthetic. To add visual interest and reinforce the CGA brand, I created a two-tone pattern based on the CGA logo and applied it to backgrounds and headers.
